Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with MakeOurs. If things don't work out, we offer a simple and fair refund process.
1. Who Can Get a Refund
Refunds apply only to your first paid subscription, and only during its first billing cycle — this is for users who upgraded their first site and aren't satisfied. If you're unhappy with your site, cancel within the first month. Refunds don't apply to renewals or later billing cycles, even on that same first site.
2. Refund Windows (First Subscription, First Billing Cycle)
Within 7 days of purchasing your first paid subscription: cancel within 24 hours for a 100% refund (less a 5% processing fee, for a 95% net refund), or within 7 days for a flat 50% partial refund. No refunds are issued after 7 days have passed.
Note: A 5% processing fee applies only to refunds issued within 24 hours of purchase, to cover the non-refundable payment-gateway cost of that transaction. The 50% (24 hours–7 day) refund has no processing fee deducted.
3. Additional Subscriptions & Existing Paid Users
If you're already a paying customer, refunds don't apply to additional subscriptions — upgrading another site is an intentional purchase, not a trial. The same applies once your first subscription has renewed past its first billing cycle.
4. Cancellation & Deactivation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. If you cancel outside a refund-eligible window, your site stays active until your subscription's expiry date, after which it becomes inactive. If your cancellation instead triggers a refund (per the windows above), your site is deactivated immediately rather than at period end, since you're getting your money back.
5. What is Non-Refundable?
The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- Subscription renewals (both monthly and annual cycles are non-refundable once processed).
- Additional site subscriptions (refunds apply only to your first paid subscription).
- Subscriptions cancelled after the initial 7-day refund window.
- Any custom domains purchased or registered through third-party registrars.
